Evaluating knowledge and attitude of physicians regarding medicinal drugs and driving: a descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study

Background. Drugged driving is a growing traffic safety issue in many countries. Adequate knowledge of physicians concerning the effects different medicines on can help them prescribe safer medications. This study aimed to assess and attitudes family regarding effect driving. Methods. cross-sectional was conducted 91 East Azerbaijan Province. A researcher-made questionnaire used for data collection. considered attitude as dependent variables demographic characteristics independent variables. To investigate relationship between variables, t-test, one-way analysis variance (ANOVA), chi-square, multiple linear regression were used. Data analyzed using Stata version 17. Results. According results, almost 65 (71.43%) participants women 26 (28.57%) men with an average age 31.54 years. The score physicians’ about 71.70 ± 14.94, their 37.52 10.23. Therefore, 44 (48.35%) had good level attitude, whereas 46 (52.87%) low medications Receiving education significantly correlated (P<0.05). However, no significant observed other Conclusion.
